My 7 day ashram stay was incredible. The accommodations are very clean, the food is healthy and delicious, the staff are courteous and welcoming, and the teachers are knowledgeable and patient. This was my first time in Rishikesh and the first time at an ashram, and it was a 10/10 experience. They really care about their students. If you’re undecided, go for this ashram!

I just finished my 200 hr teacher training here. This was an incredible experience here in rishikesh. The ashram is a wonderful space and the teachers are absolutely incredible and dedicated to the right knowledge and challenge you to do your best and absorb as much as possible. IT is not a place for someone who is looking to coast through a training but it is a place if you are ready to show up and learn from masters. It felt way more than 200 hours and I could have stayed 2 more months. I recommend this for people who are looking to deepen their understanding of yoga, deepen their practice, and deepen and transform their lives into the fullest expression.

Wonderful place. Looking for retreat in Rishikesh can be overwhelming as there is so much choice so I am really happy I chose to spend my time here, in the Himalayan Yog Ashram. For people looking for a safe and authentic space to reconnect with yourself and explore or deepen your practice with yoga ,meditation and spirituality, this is the perfect place. The location is very well connected yet somehow feels peaceful and sheltered from the noise of the city, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is delicious, healthy and prepared with care, the massages offered truly wonderful and the staff feels like family. The yoga, pranayama and meditation classes are taught in an authentic way following the classical Himalayan traditions and the instructors are knowledgeable, skilled and very approachable, going the extra mile to accommodate your needs. Thank you all for teaching , inspiring me and making my stay here so special.

I've recently completed my 200hr TTC from Himalayan Yog Ashram. It had been an amazing journey. Each and every person who is a part of this Ashram is full of knowledge, dedicated and extremely talented. They are purely here to spread the real essence of Yoga in the most genuine way possible. Proud to have been associated with them for a short period of time and I'll definitely keep going back.

I chose to attend the 200 hour course here to deepen my knowledge of yoga and I would recommend this ashram to anyone who wants to try an authentic and sincere experience. They take care of every aspect of the staying and I felt welcomed and listened to at all times: during the classes, asking for something I needed or eating the healthy food prepared by the smiling guys in the kitchen. Each teacher plays his role and transmits his subject with passion and attention, with a program and a method that differs a little from the one standardized for western customers. If you feel like it, consider opening up to some of these teachers, you could go home with something more than just new notions or knowledge, they are real people, with authentic beating hearts.

I absolutely loved my time at Himalayan Yog Ashram. Highly recommended - could not say enough good things. I had a bit of a bad experience, signed up for another school on Google/Book Yoga Retreats, that turned out to be a scam. I got very lucky, and wandered into Himalayan Yog Ashram the next morning, and they kindly took me in. Offered me a private room, told me to eat some food, rest, and join the group later in the day. This was exactly what I needed, and the space, the yoga, the food, the people, were all kind, peaceful, and beautiful. I did the Ashram Stay just for a week - and worried about nothing the rest of my time there. Everything is scheduled, comfortable and peaceful, so you can relax, follow directions, and focus on yoga. Really helped me re-center and focus myself, even just in one week. I can't wait until I can go back for more. HIGHY RECOMMENDED.

We just finished our 200 hour teaching program and it was a beautiful experience. The teachers were very authentic in their practices and took such an amazing approach to teaching. I highly recommend to anyone looking to deepen their practice (at any level) As for the rooms, very clean atmosphere and well kept. The food felt so good in my body ☺️ Thank you for the unforgettable experience!
